NCS Meetup with Zoella & Jim! | 2013 Summer

So the other day I went to a meet up with NCS to meet Zoella and Jim Chapman! It truly was awesome I got to meet my favourite beauty blogger and youtuber, and to meet jim who is also a amazing youtuber and one of my favourites!

Topshop Wish List #1 | 2013 Summer

Hey guys, so as you guys are probably aware of a lot of shops are having there summer sale, including Topshop. Topshop I would say is probably one of my all time favourite shop, its amazing. So I thought while there is a sale on I would make my own little Topshop wish list for you. I thought that maybe I could make this a little thing, and also do it for other shops, let me know what you think in the comments!

So here we have my wish list!...

Daisy Crochet Waist Dress £38.00: This dress is lovely its a beautiful red colour for summer, and has this really nice crochet on the waist, the print on the dress is gorgeous!

MOTO Vintage Spot Joni Jeans £38.00: These jeans are just perfect. I love spots and I love jeans put the two together. BOOM!

Scallop Lace Vest £16.00: This top is really pretty and I was drawn to it by the Lacey pattern. its look really light weight and nice to wear in the summer with some shorts and some flip flops, I think tops like this are ideal for the summer!

HORSHAM Geeky Sandals £20.00: These sandals are just gorgeous and I just love them. enough said. ;)

Lips in Innocent £8.00: Description from the website: Velvet finish lipstick to smooth, moisturise and nourish lips. Apply for fabulous colour and moisturised, matte finish, wear alone or with gloss for a shiny finish.

Arthur School Satchel £34.00: This bag is just awesome, and I love it.

Review ~ Sleek Blush Palette 'Lace' | 2013 Summer

Hi guys!
So I was super excited to review this product as it is so pretty and just a lovely blush palette! In the palette ' Lace ' there is three beautiful shades (Crochet, Guipure and Chantilly)
 Crochet: Is a bright orangey/Peachy Matte - absolutely stunning
 Guipure: A beautiful nude pink shade with a suttle shimmer, that makes your cheeks look amazing!
Chantilly (my personal favourite) : a stunning pinky/red matte blush!

I honestly think this is one of my all time favourite blush palettes, juts because every single one is so wearable and beautiful, its so good for school and just everyday use, every shade is really easy to wear and they would look lovely on any skin tone!
Such amazing blushers for such amazing price (£9.99) for three good quality blushers in a compact with a large mirror, is a great price. Plus the packaging for sleek is so cool, it is really 'sleek' ;) and small and compact and you can fit in a makeup bag, using not much room up! The mirror is also really handy as normally with blushers you get a really flimsy small mirror, but with this is really big and saves you carrying round a little mirror!

So overall a lovely palette! Would recommend you checking them out (available in most drugstores).

Mac Lipstick 'Pink Plaid' | Summer 2013

Hi guys,
I recently bought a lipstick from Mac called Pink Plaid, I was drawn to the colour straight away for some reason, I knew I had to add this to my collection. It is a matte formula which isn't great for me as I have quite dry lips, but I figured that I could put a clear lip gloss over the top and it would look lovely! I am really enjoying this Lipstick, it looks amazing on any skin tone. I would really recommend checking this out!

Forever 21 Black/Natural Palette | Summer 2013

So the other day I went shopping in Forever 21 (and spent Way to much;) and picked up one of their eye shadow palettes, as I have tried some of their makeup before and was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of their products and for an amazing price too! I got the palette in the shade 'Black/Natural' which has the most amazing staple eye shadow colours such as gorgeous nudes, to jet blacks (perfect for a smokey eye), there are some beautiful shimmery nudes. The colour range is truly amazing.

The eye shadows don't crease or smudge and are very pigmented and last for a long time, with other eye shadows I have previously used they really badly smudge on me and I have to wear an eye shadow primer, with these I don't which is a real bonus!

I would really recommend checking their palettes out as they are lovely, and are very great prices for the quality of their makeup. There are also different palettes you can get with more bright shades in them, I will be definitely go and pick the other colours up for summer as there are some lovely light blues and pink, I am really excited to share this amazing palette with you all, so you can all love it as much as I do!

NYC Big Bold Bronzing Powder ~ Review | Spring 2013

Hi guys today I am going to review the NYC Big Bold Bronzing Powder, so here we go !

So first impression, you get your moneys worth, this is massive! I have this in the shade '601 Manha Tan', it is a really nice bronzer colour. I love using this during the summer because I never really tan and this bronzer gives a really nice suttle 'sun kissed' look. You can pick this up from the drugstore for about: 3.99, which is a great price, I got this in a 3 for 2 deal so I didn't even end up paying for it which is always nice;)! The only thing that I do not like about this product is the smell, it stinks, but when its on your skin, you can't smell it at all!!. Overall this is a really love bronzer and I would definitely recommend it!

Burt's Bees Bessswax Lip Balm ~ Review | 2013 Spring

So today I am going to be telling you about my all time favourite lip balm its called 'Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm'.

 This lip balm is truly amazing. It smells liken after eight mints, which is one of my favourite smells anyway. Its smells so good. It so moisturising for the lips and makes them really soft. I love how all there products are 100% natural. The packaging is really easy to use and is just the normal twist up tube. I love the yellow packaging I think its really cute. Its small so you can pop it in to your makeup bag using up a small amount of space. But this means it is very easy to lose and does end up being left in the bottom of handbags. ;)

Nice Weather | 2013 Spring

So recently we have been having some lovely weather, if you live in England you will understand how horrible our weather is normally, so I thought while its so beautiful outside I could take some little snaps!

 

 

 

 

I Heart Drugstore Makeup Tag! | 2013 Sping

I have been really wanting to do this tag for a long time, so here we go!

My favourite overall brand?

I love a lot of drugstore makeup brands but my favourite would have to be Rimmel, just because of all the new amazing products they have had out lately. I also loovee Revlon, L'oreal and Maybelline aswell.

My favourite face, cheek, and lip product?

So lets start with face. My favourite face product recently is The Rimmel BB Cream (SPF 25, Light). This is perfect for me as there is nothing worse for me than a heavy foundation. This is going to sound really big headed but I also don't need it...I usually will just slap abit of concealer and be done with it! I never really buy lots of foundation, so this product is just the perfect in between ; not heavy but has quite a lot of coverage. PERFECT. It is supposed to be like a 9 in 1: On the back of the bottle it says it "Primes, moisturise, minimises pores, conceals, covers, smooths, mattifies, brightens and helps protect"
Now cheek. This is quite a strange one really, as no one ever talks about it. But its the No7 blushers. They are actually bloody brilliant. I love them so much they are pigmented and stay on for hours, they have a lovely colour range as well, my favourite colour is called 'soft damson' its an amazing bright, strong pinky colour!
And finally lips. So my favourite lip product(s) are from Rimmel, My first one is the Rimmel apocalips, read my review here : http://jessicaorjess.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/review-rimmel-apocalips-lip-lacquer.html ..... I also love the Kate Moss collection of lipsticks that Rimmel have out my three favourite colours are, 107, 16 and 5, they are all awesome colours!

Your least favourite product?

This was so so easy to chose for me as this product was just crap. Its the 'Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascara' this product was lumpy, over priced, it dries up so quickly, the packaging is a really tacky bright orange. Don't buy this product it is a waist of money.

What is the best makeup bargain?

Everybody that has done those tag have probably said this but I couldn't resits, its the 'MUA undressed palette' I love this it is the most amazing palette ever, honestly like seriously I actually think that they are as good quality as some MAC eye shadow, and for £4! sorry... £4! That's amazing.. woohhoo I love a good bargain, but then again don't we all;)

What is my favourite underdog product?

Ok. I struggled with this so much, and I came to the conclusion that when it comes to beauty I am a follower not a leader, but that I mean I go and buy peoples recommendations. Instead of looking around and saying Ooh that look cool let's try this, I will never discover something on my own. So for this I can't really say much. I suppose I like the mascara by No7 and no one really talks about it, but it isn't really the most interesting thing ever... sorry.

What is a over priced product?

Mascara. What is up with there prices like seriously.. £13 for a Drugstore mascara.. hell no.

Best drugstore dupe?

Ok to be completely honest with you I don't have a lot of high end makeup, I have a couple of mac lipsticks and some of there eye shadows, and some Bobbi brown stuff... but 75% of my makeup is all from the drugstore. I am also crap at dupes.  But I have one lip dupe which is MAC Speak Louder Dupe – MUA Shade 05... (is quite a good one actually espically as ones £14 and the others £1).

Whats product isn't worth the hype?

Lots and lots of people talk about these and I personally think they are rubbish.. its the 'Revlon just Bitten Kissable Balm stains' I know lots of people love these but there just not for me.

Review ~ Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer | 2013 Spring

Hi guys! So today I am going to tell you about the new big thing Rimmel have had out, there called 'Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer' (which is a awesome name;) ..

So here we go!

At the top is, Stellar, then Celestial (my favourite) , then Big Bang, and finally at the bottom is Nude Eclipse.

You can pick these up at most Drugstore, for around £5.99.
 I would describe them are a creamy lipstick applied in the style of a gloss. I think they application of them is amazing, they are pigmented and last for hours. 

Rimmel say they are: " The intense rich colour of a lipstick, enhanced by a satin smooth shine.The earth-shattering lip lacquer from Rimmel London"

So yeah, amazing finish, amazing pigmentation, amazing colour range.. LOVE IT!

10/10 !!

I love the colour range, they have amazing colours, although I would love to see a bright kinda coral colour!

But apart form that I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

Hunger Games

Hunger Games Fan? | 2013 spring

Hunger games fan? Yes
Watch the film about 100 times? Of course
Read all the books, cover to cover? Yes!

As you can probably tell, I am a very big hunger games fan, I think the books are better than the film yet the film is still amazing. The books however are just amazing I have recommend them to my friends and they also loved them!

So if you haven't read the hunger games please do, I guarantee you will love it as much I did!
